Counted Cross Stitch projects are usually a favorite with girls and mothers. Counted Cross stitch is simply an "X" worked on a special fabric named Aida. The working of the "X’s" in varying shades and designs creates the picture or sampler. It you can make an X and follow instructions, you can be successful at the art of Counted Cross Stitching. A favorite of ours is to make samplers of Bible scriptures which mean something special to us. Projects can be very large and intricate or simple an easy like a bookmark.
