Product Image Add To Cart   Olive's Story And Olive's School Days
The first story, Olive's Story, is a delightful story about an exceptionally sweet girl whose gentle, earnest mother leads her to a saving knowledge of our Lord during the course of a summer. This special mother-daughter relationship alone makes this book well worth reading, and it may just be an inspiration to all who read it. The second story, Olive's Schooldays, is equally as sweet as the first story, and yet more challenging, as Olive must be separated from her mother, and takes to school with her a framed quote, "What would Jesus do?" Yes, the challenge of our day was also faced by believers in the 1800's. Olive takes this quote and makes it a part of her daily life. These stories not only make the gospel very plain, but will inspire and challenge your girls to a higher walk with the Lord. Old Reprint.

Retold by Godolphin and Nichols. This excellent rendition of John Bunyan's classic work, The Pilgrim's Progress, is true to the original in content and retains the flavor of the old English language. The many beautiful illustrations of the original work has been colorized. The story is told in nearly all one syllable words (except for proper names) which makes it easier for children to read and understand. We highly recommend this book. Old Reprint.

Product Image Add To Cart   Three People
This is an outstanding book for young men! It is an exciting story that showcases the value of honesty, hard work and obedience. It is the story of three boys all born on the same day: one born into poverty, one born into middle class society, and one born into wealth. The lives of these three boys become intertwined as they grow and mature into young manhood. It portrays each young man's life as he faces the temptations of the world and his character is tested. The best thing about this book is that one young man is a follower of Christ with a fertile heart. He is prompt, courteous, respectful and honest, and, in due course, is rewarded accordingly. Young men will find this book inspiring as it gives them a glimpse of the men they can be. Parents, you will be well pleased with this example of manhood. Excellent for boys, but all ages will enjoy this title. As an adult, I couldn't put the book down! KOF Old Reprint.

Product Image Add To Cart   Trapped By a Mountain Storm
This is a most interesting story of some of God's wild creatures (the bighorn sheep, the marten, the cony, the mule deer, the weasel, and the mountain lion to name a few) and their struggle for survival in the winter during a blizzard high in the Rocky Mountains. Sensing the weather change, some seek shelter prior to the storm, while others are caught in it. The deep snow gives some animals an advantage, while it makes others frighteningly vulnerable to their enemies. Truly God's design of each of His creatures is marvelous. This is a highly interesting story.

Product Image Add To Cart   Tug of War
This excellent story is actually a sequel to Christie’s Old Organ. There are some great explanations of salvation woven into the story. Jack Villiers, the main character, has hard struggles with "self" before he comes to the Lord. The book does an exemplary job of exposing the "self" in all of us. The story continues with Jack’s struggle as a new believer to decide whether to share with his old friends that he has come to Christ. He is sorely tempted to hide the fact. This is well worth reading!

Product Image Add To Cart   Twenty Minutes Late
Twenty Minutes Late is the sequel to Miss Dee Dunmore Bryant. It is a story about the many strange twists that the Lord sends in the life of Mrs. Bryant's daughter, Caroline, when circumstances (God's provision) cause her to be twenty minutes late for a short train ride. The story quite handily demonstrates the concept of God working in our lives for our own good and that of others in many ways that are simply beyond our comprehension, yet deftly demonstrates the correct attitude and willingness of spirit that we should strive to have during such times, though our flesh may find them trying. KOF Reprint.

Product Image Add To Cart   Whiter Than Snow and Little Dot
These are two excellent stories both dealing with the Scripture "Though your sins be scarlet, they shall be whiter than snow." Whiter than Snow is a tender, sad story about a lonely little girl who ponders what the words she once heard "whiter than snow" might mean. Another young girl befriends her and begins to help her learn about Jesus. Little Dot is about a small girl who lives near a cemetery where one day she observes the funeral of a small girl just her size. She wonders what happened to her, and where she went after she died. Her questions are answered by the end of the story.

Product Image Add To Cart   Winter's Folly
This is the endearing story of two little girls whose Christian mother had taught them during Bible devotions that it was not enough to have pity and shed tears for hurting people, but that they should do everything they could to help others. Because of these lessons, the girls turned their attention to an old, impoverished and embittered man. This story is about love and provides a wonderful example of love in action, on the level of which even a child is capable! KOF Old Reprint.
