Welcome to Keepers!

$500 Sharing Giveaway!

It's that time of year again! The KOF Sharing Contest is starting now, but we are doing things a bit differently from previous years. Since generally so many of the entries are just excellent, it is too difficult to pick the best entry. So, this year we will randomly draw names from all qualifying entries. There will be:

One prize for $100
Two prizes for $50
Twelve prizes for $25

Entries must consist of at least two to three paragraphs detailing what you did to teach the skill and pictures are always a welcome addition. All clubs may participate including single family clubs! You may submit as many entries as you wish. Email your entries to sales@keepersofthefaith.com with Sharing Contest in the subject line. The contest starts February 1st and ends April 30th. We will post the entries to our Sharing Section and may also feature them on the Keepers Corner Blog. Winners will be announced by May 15th.

New Blogs Launched!

We have launched a new blog called Keepers Corner. It is centered around the clubs but will contain much more! Susan's Corner has also been relaunched into a newer and much nicer format.

Testimonials

This school year, we began using the Christian Life Readers, and oh how I wish I had put aside my prejudices about their plain covers and humble descriptions earlier. Please make no mistake, our previous sets of readers were good, even very good, but until I turned to the first page of the Christian Life Readers, I did not even realize that I had not been redeeming my children's reading lessons to the fullest (Ephesians 5:16). (I deliberately started our children on readers below their reading level so that we might have more time ruminating together. They balked at not being able to study even earlier readers with me.) I suspect that if you posted images of your helpful lesson plans, the value of the integration of narration, vocabulary, reference skills, and analysis would be abundantly clear to parents seeking a godly and academically-sound curriculum.

I plead with parents, place into your children's hands the most uplifting stories, the richest expressions of the English language, the greatest opportunity to obey the voice of their Creator when the time comes.
