Candlewicking dates back to colonial days when embroidering was often done with soft spun cotton thread that was also used for the wicks of candles. The fabric of choice was 100% natural muslin. Candlewicking projects still give the same lovely soft look of the original antique craft. It is used to make many items that lend elegance to people’s homes. It is also a very easy craft to learn.

What I like the most about Keepers is that it is a Biblically based program with sooooo many fun things to learn and do. My daughter had wanted to join girl scouts (mainly because some of her friends from church are girl scouts and she thought she was missing out) but I felt convicted not to allow that so I was thrilled to start Keepers instead!
