Pandita Ramabai, This is the incredible story of Pandita Ramabai, a woman from India, and how she came to the Lord in a nearly impossible situation in a pagan country. India was an appalling country for women, and the situation was much worse for widows and young girls. Pandita Ramabai not only found the Lord, but also became a tool in His Hand to bring hundreds to Him for salvation. There is much for all of us to learn from her life. One quote I copied down was: "I wish them (the unconverted) to see the contrast in every thing where love rules." What a motto for all believers to practice! We pray you shall be blessed by reading her biography.

I read this biography and it was wonderful. It helped me to learn about a part of the world I never really thought of. It also helped me to look at my freedom in a different way. It’s hard to explain, but learning how these poor little girls are “married” off as infants and then live like slaves, and the abuse they take if something happens to the husband, helps me to be thankful that we live in America and don’t have to do that to our precious little girls. Another thing I liked is how Pandita was able to lead people to the Lord by being someone they felt loved them. And how God had answered prayers in her ministry. A lot of those girls carried on the mission themselves educating other girls, leading them to the Lord, helping them learn a trade. Pandita showed a lot of courage in going out on her own to do this. She stayed strong even after everyone she loved around her died. I just hope that if my life looks like every chance I have going for me is gone, I will still be strong in the Lord and do His work.
