I like the poems in this book so very much. It was my reader for last year but I still like to read it because of the poems. I like so many of them. My favorite one is Lesson XXII, I love the part that say’s “Heavenly Father here and there keep them in thy tender care”. It makes me think of when God keeps me safe. My other favorite one is with the little girl Penny. It is lesson 17. I think it is such a good little story because I like stories that teach you a good lesson. Sometimes when you do something naughty you think you won’t get in trouble and no one will find out, but it teaches you the lesson that things can always happen that will tell on you and we should work harder to obey. My sister is reading this book now for her reader and I am reading Bernie’s White Chicken now. Thank you for all the good stories you have.
