This is another excellent activity to teach finger coordination which will soon be important to handwriting skills. It will also prepare children to lace and tie their shoes. For little girls, it teaches the very beginning steps of hand sewing-in and out, over and under. While your older children are working on their craft projects, your little ones can stay busy doing something educational and fun. They'll love it!
