Her Associate Members is the wonderful sequel to Chrissy's Endeavor, and continues with the story of Chrissy Holmes. Chrissy finds herself living in a strange southern city, away from family and friends, due to her husband's illness. She wants to continue her Christian Endeavor work, but finds it nearly impossible to do so. How does one reach the truly poor, the ignorant, the silly, those on the fast track in the wrong direction? How does one reach those who are unbelieving and yet successful in this world? We can all learn dozens of things from Chrissy's life as she seeks, fails, and starts again to keep reaching the lost around her. A truly excellent story!

The story of Chrissy Hollister Holmes continues in this exceptional sequel. She is married, but lives in a far away city in the south because her husband is ill. All around them are lost souls, and Chrissy tries to continue her Endeavor society, but fails, then continues to try. It is indeed a wonderful story, and will hold you completely engrossed to the end. A touching, wholesome, convicting account with humor and sadness mixed throughout it, this book is well-worth your time. Another Isabella Alden classic that will inspire you to work more for Christ. It was a blessing for me, providing myself with witnessing ideas, and I thank Keepers of the Faith for these wonderful books that they supply. Rated five stars!

I received this book for my 18th birthday and have loved it so far, so much in fact, I have had to ration chapters. : ) Very touching and very real people and examples. The first 1/2 has been very serious in its examples. I rather think Mrs. Alden used her most especially interesting names in this one. Liph Stetson, Happy the maid,and Mad Hurst. If you liked Crissy's Endeavor, you are going to benefit from Her Associate Members. I have been blessed by both.

Hello KOF, I am excited about your materials! I have used Practical Arithmatic Vol 1-3 and my oldest is doing excellent in a college algebra text and she is only 12 years old.
