This excellent story is written for teenagers. It is basically a true missionary story with substitute names. Singapore is the setting for the story of a family steeped in idol worship and superstition, and how they come to Christ. It is also interesting to see that when someone comes to Christ, they must give up all of their old life. This often means a great deal of personal sacrifice. They cannot just say a prayer for salvation and add Jesus to their present life. It makes you wonder how many American Christians could make that decision—Jesus or the old life, when it appears many American Christians seem to have both. Excellent!
