Our grandkids just love playing Banagrams! We think it is one of the best games for children, even better than Scrabble, though we are also Scrabble lovers. Each person begins with the same number of letters and then forms their own little puzzle with them as quickly as possible. When someone uses all their letters, they say, "take one." And everyone must take one new letter and try to use it. This continues until all the letters are gone. Words can be made, taken apart, and rearranged. This is a great vocabulary and spelling game. Best of all, all ages can play together, thus the family can have a great time learning and playing together. And, yes, though you didn't ask, my grandkids can beat Grandma! What fun!
